Warsaw · Poland · Cross-border matters
WILIŃSKI LEGAL handles complex criminal, business and cross-border matters, supports management boards and educational institutions, and develops dedicated practices in AI, cybersecurity and mediation.
Core practices
Defence in criminal, economic-crime and cross-border proceedings. Arrests, searches, pre-trial detention, EAW, extradition and criminal liability of entrepreneurs and executives.
Ongoing in-house legal support, company law, restructuring, management liability, disputes, compliance and crisis situations.
Legal support for universities, schools and educational entities: admissions, foreign students, documentation, diplomas, internal regulations and proceedings.
AI governance, legal aspects of cybersecurity, NIS2/KSC readiness, internal policies, incident preparedness and management responsibility.
Urgent criminal matters
In criminal proceedings, the first hours may matter more than the following weeks. Before giving explanations or making irreversible decisions, it is often crucial to understand your procedural status, the immediate risks and the defence strategy.

Mediation
We conduct civil, family, business and organisational mediations. The mediation practice is led by Magdalena Osińska-Wilińska, a court mediator listed with the Regional Court in Warsaw and the Regional Court Warsaw-Praga. Mediation is voluntary and confidential within the limits of applicable law; the mediator does not act as either party's lawyer.
A settlement signed by the parties before a mediator may be submitted to a Polish court for approval. Where enforcement is possible, approval may take the form of an enforcement clause. Mediation does not automatically “interrupt” limitation periods; the legal effect depends on the applicable provisions and the way the mediation was initiated.
How we work
You know who leads the matter and who is responsible for the strategic decisions.
The objective is not to produce documents. The objective is to help the client make an informed decision.
Where a matter requires tax, restructuring, technical, valuation or other specialist input, we coordinate work with appropriate external professionals.
